Our Story
On a trip down to Bend, Oregon in 2019 to celebrate little sister Bridget's 21st birthday bash, Kaleb was met at the airport by Bridget and company, including Bridget's Westmont College roommate, Alexa. After a weekend filled with celebration and fun, Kaleb returned to Anchorage and Alexa returned to Santa Barbara, the two left star-crossed.
Over the course of a couple of trips to Santa Barbara, the two became smitten and began dating long distance. A couple of months into dating, Alexa prepared to graduate from Westmont College and move to North Carolina to pursue her PhD at UNC Chapel Hill. Long distance became much longer distance.
After a couple years of flying back-and-forth across the country to visit one another, Kaleb left beloved Alaska and relocated to North Carolina to be with his sweetheart. Nearly a year into dating close distance and doing life together, Kaleb faked an injury one autumn morning and pulled out a ring with a big smile on his face.
Engaged - at last!
